A nice day for some ... a hair raising experience for others

NOTE: Lots of pictures below.

Hi everyone. Yazmin and I get a kick out of Yonah's look when he is feeding. I hope you do too.

Yazmin had a really nice day today with Yonah and Jeremiah. Her milk is really coming in nicely, so she got to feed both babies mostly her milk (from a bottle), though they took some formula too. Yazmin also got to do a lot of skin to skin bonding with both Jeremiah and Yonah. Yazmin really enjoys it...and the babies just love it. Yonah was in ecstasy!

Also, Yazmin has been up and walking during the day. As many of you know, walking is essential for recovering from C-Sections. Yazmin and I just walked back from the NICU...and she did that at least one other time today...so, that's really good.

We asked the nurse when the babies might be going home...and the very experienced nurse (Gilla) who has been taking care of Yonah and Jeremiah said that it would be anywhere from 2 days to a week and a half. So, we'll see.

I apologize for the quality of the pictures...it was dark and I didn't want to raise the lights or use a flash as I didn't think that either of those would be good for the babies. So, since it's dark, the camera compensates by doing a longer exposure...which means that there is a good chance of blurring.

Ok...that's it for now (Except for the pictures below). Hopefully, tomorrow will be full of lovin', snuggling, skin to skin bonding, feeding, changing, pumping, growing and resting.

What? What chu lookin' at? I'm feedin' here!

Love my skin to skin time. Thanks Mom!

Would someone teach the hairy guy how to feed me? And what's with that chin?

This is what it looks like when we are feeding the boys in the nursery.

Adam gets into the NICU! (And finds himself behind bars!) Grandma Fran is a willing accomplice.

Hello Family Peeble!
Keep those cards and letters coming:) I never get tired of seeing gorgeous babies and neither do the ladies at my work.
I'm so happy that all is well.
Much love,
